BOLOS (DEMOCRITUS) OF MENDE (fl. 5th century BC)

Life
Bolos was a neo-Pythagorean and a student of Democritus, from the city of Mende on the Nile Delta. His treatises influenced Posidonius and the Arab alchemists, and are cited by Suidas.
